Andris Lismanis
Member of the Board

Andris has been the Head of EDO since the foundation of the company; however, he prefers collegial adoption of decisions by involving and listening to his colleagues. He also actively works with projects without any fear of trying out new areas. Andris has liked analytic work and challenges since his graduation from the Latvian University of Agriculture, where he acquired Master’s degree in economics.
Andris easily finds a common language with his customers and understands their interests and needs.

He tries to find several solutions to offer to cooperation partners in each situation and helps to achieve results step by step. His key to success is experience, selection of the right priorities and sense of humour.

Ieva Leimane
Project Manager

Ieva is a project manager with a passion for research. She is a doctoral student at the Latvian University of Agriculture, Faculty of Economics and Social Development.

Ieva has worked with EDO since its foundation. She takes her work and every project personally; therefore, she never lacks a responsible approach, accuracy and attention to detail while looking for the necessary solutions. Cooperation partners trust Ieva.

Ieva has been specialising in the management of drafting strategic development and planning documents since 2007. She is able to coordinate cooperation between organisations and specialists within a project, and has experience in the organisation of seminars and brainstorming sessions. While working with municipalities, Ieva has organised public discussion processes and resident surveys, providing also the collection and presentation of results thereof.

Viktors Bobovičs
Project Manager

Viktors joined the EDO team in the capacity of a Project Manager in the summer of 2008. Previously Viktors had worked for an accounting services company SIA Assistants to Business for several years. His duties as a financial adviser included the provision of accounting records in accordance with Latvian legislation and standards of the client companies, processing, registration and control of accounting bills, preparation of monthly reports for the managements of the respective companies, as well as drawing up and analysis of annual reports.

Duties of the Project Manager at EDO include economic assessment of business ideas and investments, drafting project documentation, organisation of the procurement procedure in accordance with the legal requirements and the requirements for acquiring co-financing of EU Structural Funds, project leadership, as well as the preparation of reports for public authorities administering these funds. Viktors is also responsible for the company’s marketing activities and the attraction of new customers. Viktors has extensive experience in the management of various projects, which he successfully applies in his daily work.

Viktors has acquired professional Master’s degree in finance from the BA School of Business and Finance.

Astra Varika
Project Manager

Astra has been with the EDO team nearly since the beginning of the company. She has worked with both investment projects and informative programmes and socio-economic researches. With project assessor’s experience in EEA and Norwegian government’s financial instrument project competitions, she has also developed a critical eye in project assessment. In her work, Astra is guided by intuition, while also adhering to the Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers and other instructions.

Astra has acquired Master’s degree in economics from the Latvian University of Agriculture and complemented her knowledge in Riga Business School.

Alberts Auziņš
Dr.oec., Financial Analyst

Alberts is a financial analyst, and is actively involved in the company’s research projects. He joined the EDO team in 2004 (shortly after its foundation). Alberts specialises in drafting financial chapters (plans) of projects of EU Structural funds and business plans, carries out various financial and economic calculations, and analyses business ideas and commercialisation possibilities of inventions. He has gained long-term extensive experience in working with companies of various sectors (i.e. food processing, agriculture, fisheries, aquaculture, manufacturing industry, power industry, services, etc.).
A financial planning method developed by Alberts is used in the preparation of financial plans that conform to the level of substance and detail required by clients.

Alberts has acquired Doctor’s degree in economics from the RTU Faculty of Engineering Economics (Dr.oec., Financial Analyst)
